Aint Talkn' 'Bout Love - Van Halen - and while I'm on that subject...
Mean Streets - Van Halen
Cocaine - Eric Clapton
Stranglehold - Uncle Ted
Highway To Hell - AC/DC
Fly Like An Eagle - Steve Miller
I Don't Need Love - Sammy Hagar - that one just gets me goin'.
Spirit of Radio - Rush

Geez, I can only have 2 more?

Can't You Hear Me Knocking - The Stones
Fat Bottom Girls - Queen (I totaled a '72 Vette to this one - LOVE IT!)

There's more where that list came from.

Godzilla by Blue Oyster Cult and Aqualung by Jethro Tull are exactly what I had in mind with this topic!
Great stuff.

Goin' for things that haven't been mentioned yet

Layla by Derrick and the Dominoes
I Ain't Marchin' Anymore by Phil Ochs (it's folk on an acoustic guitar, and it's on par with many of the major rockers)
Venus in Furs by the Velvet Underground
Personality Crisis by the New York Dolls
Rockin' in the Free World by Neil Young
Walk on the Wild Side by Lou Reed
I Wanna be Your Dog by the Stooges
Dancin' With Mr D. by the Rolling Stones
White Rabbit by Jefferson Airplane
Interstellar Overdrive by Pink Floyd

Interesting unexpected choices! Walk On The Wild Side doesn't come to mind right away as a monster riff in the same way as Iron Man or Godzilla.
On a side note I noticed that Jeff Beck is on one or two lists and I do think he's a brilliant guitarist but it seemed like he purposely stayed away from the "big dumb" guitar riff throughout his career, in favor of tasteful restraint. Any thoughts?
