Apologies if they've already been mentioned in the previous 16 pages (and even if so, they deserve a second mention)... Legs Diamond

UFO
The Good Rats

I saw UFO ib 1978 along with Cheap Trick and Pat Travers, I guess they didn't make much of an impression on me, I only remember that the other 2 bands blew them off the stage. But the Good Rats... what a great band! "Fireball Express" is one of my favorite songs.
How about the Dictators? They were great, and still put out an album now and then. "Bloodbrothers" from 1978 was a great album.

Country Joe and the Fish.
EDIT:
...and what am I talking about, they were a 60's protest band. My god.

And the Zombies, even though they were like 1967, 1968, whatever. They still don't nearly any of the credit they deserve.

Since I favor the 70's over most other classic rock most of these bands are not forgotten for me at least...

Just a thought..

Maybe the thread should have read "70's Bands that are Best Forgotten" :oyea:

Good call. I remember playing Breadfan to death after I heard it on a compilation album.

I went to see UFO earlier this year, they still have it.

Forgotten bands, Jethro Tull makes the list for me, you don't seem to hear much of their music on TV or radio now.

I was digging around my old vinyl and found these 70's albums. Anyone else remember these bands?
