Re: Thin Lizzy

Fighting is a fantastic album, imo! I have numerous fond memories both of when I first heard it on vinyl the year it was released and with many of the songs very much having significant meaning to me, too!

I would also recommend Life/Live! Originally it was a double album with outstanding live performances featuring all of the members of Thin Lizzy from throughout the bands career! There are great live versions of songs from almost every TL album! :cheers2

Re: Thin Lizzy

You guys have got me all fired up again about Thin Lizzy, I'll have to start putting them back in rotation. I am impressed with how many of our members like and respect the band, definitely a lasting legacy that Phil would be proud of I'm sure.

Add one more fan...

I'm a big fan of the Brian Robertson/Scott Gorham era.

Nightlife (1974)
Fighting (1975)
Jailbreak (1976)
Johnny the Fox (1976)
Bad Reputation (1977)
Live and Dangerous (1978)

JAILBREAK is one of the best hard rock albums ever recorded.

Re: Thin Lizzy

That's the great thing about CDs or LPs, you can always go back and keep listening. They'll live forever!:grinthumb

I've even got my 17 year old daughter starting to listen to Thin Lizzy. I got her hooked on the Clash when she was about 13, so now she doesn't doubt my musical taste. For the most part, she doesn't....:D
