Elegant and interesting acoustic album. Doug Aldridge and Coverdale team together perfectly. I don't know the female singer on this one but remains me Blackmore's Night,Candace Night a bit. Nice song indeed. 7.5/10.

Solid hard-rock song with powerful guitar, thunder drums, catchy chorus and vocals with a little flavor of Steven Tyler. Cool in every way. 9/10.

Interesting track.....I know very little about Def Leppard . Another band I never listened to in the past.
It sounds like a combo of ideas from Abbey Road by the Beatles.....which is ok with me since I love Abbey Road. I give it 8/10

An instrumental piece from a prog/psych band that was formerly called Astra but reformed as Birth. I think the 2 Astra lps are superb....and Birth are pretty good also.
I enjoy the odd non vocal track.

Nice title track from Gilmours last.....didn't buy that one but its an ok lp.
I like his first solo lp the best but he's always worth listening to for his guitar parts.
Made me think of this because Manzanaera is on that Gilmour lp. 8 /10

So many different elements at play here. Starts out kinda funky and then goes into a spoken word part over background vocals. Then it launches into a nice melodic verse that I find myself humming over and over as I'm writing this. Then another transition into a completely different sound with a blaring sax. Back to the verse again...throw in a little guitar... and then back to part of the chorus I think before it transitions again into a jazzy outro. What a ride...8/10

Nice mellow quasi west coast psych pop from '73.....though psych from that era was gone by then for the most part. I like that old atmospheric pysch pop.
I have that lp and the first one also. Sounds a bit like very early Steve MIller and early Ten CC and maybe the band below.......
8/10

It reminded me of this song from a great lp...........

100 % classic, very melodious song. 10/10. :good

P.S. Although, I like UFO's cover to it more. For me, it sounds more dynamical in hard-rock arrangement.
