How long does it take? What equipment do I need and where do I start?

What's the best way to practice? For some reason it always seemed to me that such things are somewhere on an equal footing with art and some are given and some are not. I've heard that many people take a raw track and send it to professionals here. And then they try to make it sound the same. So to say to get a reference track. What do you think about that?

Apparently it's going to be a long time. But I will probably look for some courses and literature. And at the same time look for opportunities to practice. I would like to find a good teacher

I would get a Tascam DP-01. It's so easy to use. And no, you don't need courses. It might take a few hours to get it going, but I've always believed in teaching yourself, instead of adapting others' styles, rules, etc... If it sounds good, it's good.
