Anyone got this new VolBeat cd?
I hesitated to put it in the "Metal" forum but it is metal somewhat. This is without question the heaviest VolBeat cd that they have ever made. Classic melodic vocals by Michael Poulson who is spot on every time. Why this cd was much heavier I don't know, but I have always been a sucker for heavy riffs and melodic vocals and this one has it all. Maybe on this album they let Rob Caggiano have more input, since he was from Anthrax he surely had some heavy riffs lying around and maybe they used them on this one! Anyway, if you like heavy riffs this album has a few. Very impressed with the new lp. Good job guys!

Yes, I have the album and I agree with you that the album "Servant Of The Mind" is a great album. I really do like most their songs and music. Great music from them Copenhagen farmers over at the Eastcoast:);)

I'm a bit behind when it comes to Volbeat releases. The last one I bought was "Outlaw Gentlemen & Shady Ladies". Was a huge fan of the first 3-4 albums and also saw them live, but I guess I lost track after "Outlaw...". Gotta catch up at some point.
