Due to a recent conversation, here's a few that may surprise but have stayed and never strayed-
Malcolm X- Nó Sell Out.

NWA - Straight Outta Compton.

Run DMC - It's Tricky.

Another Osmosis moment clicked me to this band.... and this song.
One of my brother's was always spinning a 45rpm called Big Bertha... which was kinda catchy - I'd blast it when he was gone out to smokers corner or chasing girls. He subsequently left, leaving this vinyl outing behind.... fast forward a couple of years and said brother informed me the lead singer of Big Bertha had perished in a car smash... Windmill was the band-mooching thru' the bargain racks a year later I thumbed this album, sporting a very capturing sleeve on the Neon label. Little did I know when parting with less than two bucks did I realise that this album featured members of the now defunct Windmill... minus it's front man.
Definitely my cup of tea and did not disappoint, elements of Chicago /prog and nuances of Rory gallaghers first Polydor release.
Not got or seen a CD copy... I wash this in warm water about every five years... Still sounds crisp-and even though greyer... the hairs on my arms still stand up!
(About 3:12) things really kick in, this song has earwormed and wended it's way with me since the 70's... it's a stayer and staying - have a listen.
Tonton Macoute - Don't Make Me Cry.
