I agree. I am also a fan of Ripper Owens. He has done vocals for some of my all time favorite bands like Iced Earth and Priest.
When the Eagle Cries gives me goose bumps...It's a beautiful song.

Ripper has done a number of other projects. More than I was aware of, including 2 Yngwie Malmsteen albums. I gotta pick those up.

I fell off buying Yngwie albums quite some time ago. Not because I didn't love his playing, but I just went in a different direction in what music I buy on CD. Same with a lot of the older bands I love.

I loved Demolition and Jugulator. Ripper has a hell of a voice and did a great job of filling in. By the way---Best Ripper Priest tune may be Cathedral Spires!!!

My Priest — Ripper — picks would be Bullet Train & Cathedral Spires….that whole Jugulator album is flipping awesome. its one of JP’s heaviest albums IMO.

Priest did a lot of Drop D tuning on that lp. Made it heavier, more full imo. I wish they would do more of it going forward.

Agreed!
KK Downing’s Priest will likely go that heavy.

KK's lp wasn't bad, but it didn't "wow" me much. I wish he would quit using partial old JP titles in his songs. Return of the Sentinel etc...

Uhh, he could have a better band name, too. But I’m happy to see KK still putting out music.

Exactly Magic, exactly!! Come up with a new name because everyone on the planet knows you were in JP, and please quit using old JP song titles for new songs written by you. Stop it KK!!
