l have every Rush album before Signals and they're great. But l kinda wrote them off after hearing Signals, Grace Under Pressure, Power Windows, and Hold Your Fire. My fave songs are Working Man, What You're Doing, A Passage to Bangkok, La Villa Strangiato, Anthem, Cygnus X1, Lakeside Park, YYZ, and The Camera Eye. Can someone recommend the band's 90s and newer songs that l might like.

Give "Snakes & Arrows" a spin. Superb album through and through!

Here's a track from the album:

The follow-up album "Clockwork Angels" is excellent too.

With lovers, buggers, & thieves.
You may like the Counterparts album from 1993.

It was a return to their hard-rock beginnings. Alex said that he dug out his old gear from the early days for this album.

It is a really good album... very different from the AOR albums that came before it.

I did not care too much for Hold Your Fire, Presto, and most of Roll The Bones, but Counterparts is the old Rush... guitar, bass, drums, vocals. There is synth on it, but it is tastefully in the background to fill out the sound in places. You hardly know it's there.

Counterparts is the last Rush album that I can listen to, start to finish.

I liked a lot of the lyrics on Presto but the music is mostly pop garbage through a Rush filter. I agree almost completely with op's assessment and a lot of his favorites.

Rush is still my favorite band although the last album they did that I thoroughly enjoy is now something like 42 years old...yikes.

But that 12 string piece Alex does called Hope on (I think) Snakes and Arrows is really cool and reminds me both of good Rush and Kendra Smith's version of Bold Marauderer.
