Just finished listening to a newly bought Animals by Pink Floyd.. after a girl at College scratched my copy. News came on at 10pm... I then switched onto John Peel Show.
As Nottingham was the place for the Elvis Fan Club... I hooked up with some Rockers and we took to the streets.. Some danced at a local Dance Hall - out on the street.
I'm in the crowd outside the Palais and Bali Hai Club.

I do recall - shortly before Elvis's death, Bing Crosby had died.. and some fella had painted on a city wall:
