Groups That Tour Without Lead Singers Or Members Of Original Band

Hello my name is Steve, been around awhile saw quite a lot of groups in my day, and of course with all of them original band members, including lead singers. I was appalled when i read that the existing members of the Allman Brothers band r doing a concert in New York, absoulety discusting, who is going to sing lead on the songs, horrific, i guess they need the money, the Hollies going out where is Ghramn Nash and Alan Clarke, i do not understand this, just like Queen without Freddie Mercury, but adam Lambert, or Journey without Steve Perry, ok they may all sound good but it is not the lead singers. There is probably a lot more, maybe im in the minority, dont think so but i just dont get it. Would u c the rolling stones without Jagger, Aerosmith without Steven Tyler, dont think so, again i dont get it. I think if one member holds the name they can go out on tour, no matter the lead singer or band members, another example the guess who, its the guitairist and drummer, Randy Bachman, And Randy Cummings The lead singers of the guess who are going out on tour the real guess who. Welll sorry for my long rant but this is my opinion, Thnks

My old lady booked me to see The Four Tops many years ago-
A) there were six on stage.
B) some chick on a synth.
C) i think it was the Four Tops's...windowcleaners.

Molly Hatchet has no original members.

Skynyrd has 1.

Foreigner has 1.

Boston has 1.

Nazareth only the bass player left from originals.

Still kick ass tho.

Savoy Brown apart from founding guitarist Kim Simmonds who started the band back in 1965 about 100 other musicians have passed through the band in the last 55 years.

Taking it a step further I have always found it interesting rock bands especially from the 1960s & 1970s that didn't contain any original member in the bands line up. I can't think of any by name off the top of my head but a few have existed in rock history.

Molly Hatchet. Everyone from the original band is now dead. The last remaining one guitarist Steve Holland died not long ago. The band carries on.
