I actually got turned on to this band through this forum. What can I say... Does AC/DC get residuals from these guys or what? Solid rock and roll but nothing groundbreaking.
Thrash isn't my thing but I'll try to give an unbiased rating. It's not to extreme and there are some cool leads that don't rely on a million notes per second. All in all, as thrash goes, pretty damn good.
I like it! A nice rock tune, from a good band. One can always listen to something good by Dokken; I don't particularly know them, but I never got disappointed, after listinening to their songs. 6,5/10
^ 20/10..this is Links best album by a country mile...recorded at The Manor in Berkshire..and features snappy drumming from the late Charlie Charles ( ian Dury)..
Coming right back at yer'
From Bullshot - 1979...his only release on Charisma.
Ah we seem to have found common ground in Link Wray. Love how he rolls with the changes and never rested on his laurels of his 50's style. (He played very psychedelic in the late 60's). He does this Dylan song justice. Anyway Link is one of my idols. Unfortunately I discovered him too late and never got to see him live. I remember he died shortly after I joined this forum.
This album was white hot on my turntable..Tod Howarth was shit hot!
( West Of Eight)... is still a killer piece of vinyl to this day.
If i recall Anton Fig is on the drum stool.
Very feckin' good is my classification 10/10.
I know i bang on about axe players..but this Welsh Wizard never got the accolade..(think Dudek with glasses and HiWatts.)
