Hello all,

Today, my review/web article on the new Paul McCartney Flaming Pie Archive Collection Deluxe box set was published online. The link to the article is below.

I think the remastered Flaming Pie CD has a warmer sound versus the original. It was remastered at Abbey Road Studios. A few things that caught my attention from the set was the original, 1995 version of the collaboration with Dave Stewart titled Whole Life. It has a Stones type sound to it. A "Rude Cassette" version of Heaven On A Sunday has a heavy, drum machine beat to it, compared to the Flaming Pie album.

Thanks,
Marshall

I've bought all the other reissues on vinyl and plan to get this one on vinyl too, but I'm going to wait a bit and see if the price for the 3LP set drops, because right now the price is outrageous.

For those unsure about this set, here's an unboxing of all editions:

Thanks for the reply, Sharp Dressed Man. The Collector's Edition is one giant box set! The Deluxe Edition I reviewed is on the right in the SDE unboxing video.
