Re: Who was the best heavy metal band of the 80's? I'm not sure what people mean about haevy metal. I see people say Guns N Roses and Kiss. For me Kiss and Guns N Roses are hardrock. But my favorite heavy metall band of the 80's must be Rainbow or Whitesnake (I'm not to sure about these two... -
