I'm just happy to see someone like "From The Choirgirl.." as much as I do. Most just treat it as an average album by Tori. I think that's when she peaked! :)

I'm afraid not as that and the Pumpkins one lost their flow. I'll still post as far as chat for upcoming albums and general fan posting. The reason I lost the flow with threads like that is youtube started deleting videos so often that I kind of lost the freedom to really follow through the way I wanted. I didn't want to put all the work in just to have a thread full of dead vids, picture links and such. :P

recgord27, don't think I missed your awesome confession as one of us Tori Amos fans. Thanks for the awesome bumps and I'll try to respond more thoroughly later. :)

Thanks. No I didn't receive your reply before this one. Hmm, so you're saying that ADSL has its own shortcomings too. Telecommunications really needs to be improved in this country.

I use Cell C 3G, and yes, I also have crap reception. We live close to the airport and there seems to be a radio blanket operational at certain times of the day. Tried getting ADSL a few years back but they were unable to patch in a line for us then. Maybe things are better now.
The package I have is for 2Gb per month and it seems to be enough for me as I don't feel the need to download stuff on a grand scale. I'm mainly on the forum and download e-mails.
Thinking about it, I think that the underlying problem with 3G is that there is not enough bandwidth to handle the traffic that there is. Also, speaking to the chaps at work, ADSL also seems to have the same shortcomings. What is sold as "Uncapped" has a limit of a few Gb, and there are complaints that even this limit cannot be achieved short of running multiple downloads on a 24/7 basis.

Hey I was just curious. What kind of internet connection do you have? ADSL (like MWeb) or 3G? My experience with getting internet in SA has not been great so far. I have tried Vodacom 3G, iBurst and now have 8ta/Telkom Mobile now for 2 years or so. They're all crap compared to ADSL (from what I hear) but I cannot have ADSL because I don't have a landline. None of the housing complexes I've lived in in SA have landline connections. :uh:
