What country is the most avant-garde in radio play?

The proof that Yellowbeard is a Christ like symbol is that he comes back from the dead! "Yellowbeards are never more dangerous than when we're dead!"

Oh, now that my head is out of the clouds. I don't know where I got that name for the devil. Hollywood, with his roles, was insinuating that Marty Feldman is the devil. He played Eyegor in Young Frankenstein, a character who works with Victor D Frankenstein's grandson to make another...

What country is the most avant-garde in radio play?

I remember what Finland is best at is not broadcast law, it is debate law. Another thing, if you want to lower your crime rate, it's private property that matters more than freedom. That's what Finland did better than Switzerland. But Switzerland's external debt load went down a couple of...

A better scheme for broadcast law might be to normalize from Panama to Canada because of Spanish language programming. Also - the Seventeen magazine issue. How many musicians actually graduate highschool with a prom date? If not, they are not singing about the love life the upscale teenagers...

About China's SAT scores - I'm skeptical. First, because it is incredibly difficult to get over 700 on that verbal section. Also, because I have never been impressed with the super-intelligence of mandarin Chinese. Cantonese, which are more rare, though; yes! They are smarter than Japaners...

mpeg7 encoding - whats it for

IIRC, HD AM would really be optimal with mpeg13, which would reject interference the most, but be lower bit rate. I remember also that mpeg7 is the considered the lowest bit rate that is adequate for singing.

mpeg7 encoding - whats it for

The bit rates will be so low that I can't see what the use it - except for football radio? I suppose they want to keep the bit rate lower than 32 kbps which is as low as mpeg4 aac will go. It also could have been used for digital AM which shouldn't have been anywhere near the bit rate digital...

What are those brain scanning helmets called in Last in Line at 2:20?

What are the brain scanning helmets called in The Last in Line? They are little like the helmets at the end of Young Frankenstein.

Since this became a Nightwish related thread, I thought I'd share my minor rewrite of the B-side "Sleepwalker (heavy version)." My version: Close your eyes Sense the ocean where passion lies Verily, the senses Abandon all defenses A place between sleep and awake End of innocence, unending...

Some more information on America. It comes in #56 in the world in crime, with Finland being #1 and Switzerland #3. Finland is also one of 3 countries getting a perfect 100 on the Cato Institute's Index of freedom along with Sweden and Norway. The Scandinavian countries! America's measure...

What's the top wood on the Dust in the Wind acoustic? It sounds a little like cedar. But I'm probably imagining it.

What country is the most avant-garde in radio play?

Avant-Garde is the term that used to be used for "progressive." Well I'm wondering if we adopted laws from other countries what would get the American music industry going again. The UK has all of those fantasy novels and RR Martin's book deal. They may be best for copyright law. Belgium has...

I have found one collection on ebay from Mike H Price (Dr Demento). I was wondering if anyone has a collection with that song on it?

Didn't this band break up because an overweight woman proffered George Michael after a show?
