I hear you on that! I remembered having a thread here on Garth but honestly figured you'd be the one with any real input on the set so I went directly to the source. :heheh: :grinthumb

You listed a number off of the Blue Eyed Soul disc which was my favorite disc overall! That concert sounds awesome and I'm jealous that you saw him at all! :) Thanks for indulging me with your input! It's always good to know someone else appreciates something that you think is awesome! :)

I agree with you about the price! It's the reason I bought his prior two box sets. Until then I had only owned "The Hits" collection. Having a box set like that with every studio release was one of the greatest deals I'd ever seen at that point so it wasa no brainer to get it. When I bought the most recent box set like you I already had that 2 disc hits cd but the rest of what it contained made up for that. I've only seen one Garth Brooks live show and I think one of the premium channels like HBO was airing it. I thought it was amazing. I'll definitely watch the Vegas one.

Did you have a favorite cover? For me the one that really stuck out was the "Goodnight Saigon" one and his version of "Shout" was also really fun! :)

Hey Lynch, you are the biggest Garth Brooks fan I know here! Did you ever buy his most recent box set with all the covers on it! It's really awesome if you haven't. I finally listened to all the disc except the live one which I will soon. Anyway, I think he put a lot of care into each song. The sound quality is top notch and he really is a versatile vocalist with all those genres. She made each song his own without changing so much that it loses it's original identity and the liner notes for each song was a cool read. Anyway, I figured you'd be the only one on here who might share the enthusiasm I have! :heheh:
