...very nice and clean looking copy. I have two versions of it both US one original and the other a late 70's reissue. Also have a Japanese pressing that I have not played to this day. :)
I've purchased on occasion CD's off Best Buy...at least the ones that are their editions only with extra tracks or supplemental discs. Usually I get them off Amazon.
Subbed in a Denon DVD-3800 as a CD transport... Was using a Marantz CD5000 prior. Big difference between the two. The Denon was sharper, cleaner, with more fleshed out sonics. The Marantz wasn't terrible by comparison but it was fuzzier and recessed. Could be that the former has a better laser...
When the re-issues came out, speculation that Page even confirmed that the band's archives have been trawled and not much was left. A few unreleased tracks here and there plus remixes which were pretty similar to the final versions. I gander that whatever is being released will have to be a live...
There are multiple CD sets out on bootleg from the early part of his tour. 24 gigs at last count. All stereo soundboards. Would buy 'em if I had the $$$. I don't doubt the shows you saw will be out soon...unofficially that is.
