Re: Jimi Hendrix at Woodstock I used to have a video of that performance and what a performance!! The Band of Gypsies come on stage just as the suns rising. with Hendrix is off his face. Then he blows everyone away WOW!!!- daveboy

Guitarists?
This thread should not be called "the best..." it should be "your favourite..." as all the guys mentioned are damn good. Anyone can learn to play guitar but it takes someone special to become a vituoso, to be an absolute expert etc etc But for me the man who took guitar playing...- daveboy

Who's got the blues?
These guys are all Chicago type electric blues guitarists they're on that level between real blues and rock music The best blues guitarist IMHO is without a doubt Lightning Hopkins he is blues arpeggio at its best . My favourite electric blues axemen are Clapton SRV BB King T...- daveboy
