Yeah, I may throw out Progressive to easily but they definitely fit that sudgy grungy description. They remind me of a more complex Silverchair. Their album is definitely strange but is a cool trip. :)

Hey thanks DKW! I appreciate the suggestions and will make a point to check them out! This may be a shot in the dark but I think you may be able to appreciate this band. They are a little different and more hard rock than metal persay but a fan of heavier music with progressive elements might like them:

The main reason it is cheap might be because all albums I get are second hand. I'm not very keen about the quality that has changed over 30-45 years as I have absolutely no idea how they sounded like back then.
302 LPs is not bad, especially with the amount of metal albums I saw you playing. However I am expecting a large stack of CDs and DVDs... :heheh:

Just wondering, what is your opinion on early Whitesnake? I don't think I ever saw you listening to them.

The two bands I have noticed that have caused the biggest shit storms in my experience are Nightwish and Morbid Angel, I guess you can lump Metallica in there.
Nightwish do that with the ridiculous way they fired Tarja they divided their fanbase whereas Morbid Angel alienated their whole fanbase on one album lol
Funny how metal can do that, Morbid Angels shit storm still has not died down and the remix album to come out is just gonna reignite it. :oyea:
