You can't really have a discussion about Emmylou Harris without mentioning her beginnings as a musical protege of the late, great Gram Parsons. They made some incredible recordings together.
I've been a fan of TbT for a few years. If I recall correctly I think I first heard about them through CDBaby. My favorite album is probably "Blue Sky and the Devil."
They also win in my book for having one of the best song titles around - "My Brother Works for the CIA When He's Not Doing Time."
I could have sworn I posted a long, detailed biographical thread about Parsons within the last year or two, but I can't seem to find it.
Good to see some other GP love here.

I just discovered Middle Brother. I don't know that as a band they sound like classic rockers per se, but some of the songs have more than a hint of Neil Young and even a little CCR on one song in particular. A little raw indie flavor, a little rockabilly thrown in for good measure, too...
