What's your favorite REO Speedwagon song?

The live version of Back On The Road Again. So sad to realise that young Gary Richrath has passed, eternally that lead guitarist making his axe talk.

    Sexy Women in Music II

Girlschool forever young. Then maybe Joan jett as a very far behind second. The rest are fake, begging recognition.

What's your favorite REO Speedwagon song?

Best of the lot for me. Love Album and live versions. I’m now word and guitar movement, air!, perfect on the live version video.

Faith healer from SAHB has just been on my playlist from OGWT 20 December 1973. Wow. Remember this from Tramps, Plymouth Rock nights in the very early 80’s and thinking this was so different but brilliant. Still stands the test of time. These lads were never acknowledged for how great they were...

    The Ruts

These lads were brilliant, sadly cut short by a lead singer that couldn’t take this world any longer. Respect. Carried on for years by the Ruts DC but no substitute for the band I saw in union street, Plymouth just as they were emerging. Best cross over punk/fast rock group by a mile but never...

    "Hair Metal" vs Grunge

Crikey, some real red lines drawn. At 57, and discovering the brilliance that is YouTube, I am a NWOBHM creation with punk and quo(frantic four) added. Nobody is the best. All rock music, to me that’s guitar based raised to max, is great. I’ve learned that every day is different moods and all...

    ☆War Songs☆

War Pigs - Black Sabbath says it all for me. That unofficial you tube vid is perfect to the song ( cloth in the breeze and workers).

    Cover versions

Just been listening to Cum on feel the noise multiple times. Decided that my top three are in this order, and I am of the age I loved Slade at primary school! 1. Quiet Riot 2. Slade 3. Oasis Anybody’s thoughts on this and other rock songs.

    Magnum

All of my life live from 70’s is a proper underrated classic. Saw them around 1980 at St Austell Coleseum supporting Def Leppard. Both were immense.

    Favorite 80's guitarist?

Tommy shaw Styx well overlooked. I used to think he was a ponce but watch 8.19 version of renegade live. He put me in my place, great talent who loves rock, pure rock, music.

    most energetic lead singer

Saw maiden in 80 at Plymouth fiesta. Loved them all. Dianno is forgotten man due to his criminal activity and Bruce being absolutely brilliant always. But what about Biff? Loved him and Saxon pre America love in.

    Time to quit

Just watched def leppard bringing on the heartache, both versions, having watched earlier a whole minute of def leppard and Taylor swift obliterating the memory of pour some sugar on me. I’m an on through the night fan but that was an idea too far. When should our greats stop or as maiden do...
