French singer/guitarist Elise Lounici, aka Elise Frank...the name of her band is 'Frank.'...This album titled 'I Didn't Pay For It' she released earlier this year...bluesy-rock with a bit of a dark edge to it.- BluesRocker

This weekend has seen the annual Rory Gallagher International Tribute Festival held in Ballyshannon, Ireland which is Rory's birthplace..The festival is still going strong and its been going for over 20 years now..This years event was over 4 days with tons of musicians and bands performing both...- BluesRocker

Review Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band- Night Moves (1976) *** 1/2
Just been giving a listen to his 'Seven' and 'Back in '72' albums...Two of my favourite albums of his, to me this is classic Seger at his rockingest best... He didn't tour or travel much outside of North America so unfortunately i never got to see him live in concert..i think he only ever came...- BluesRocker

Review Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band- Night Moves (1976) *** 1/2
Yes, Night Moves is a fantastic album...some superb albums from 1976, Bob Seger ( Night Moves ), Blue Oyster Cult ( Agents of Fortune ), Thin Lizzy ( Jailbreak ), all stellar rock classics....My favourite track on Night Moves is 'The Fire Down Below,' the lyrics are superb ( walking the streets...- BluesRocker

Van Morrison has always been a miserable old bastard...i have never really liked him or his music,..he has been called an Irish Bob Dylan, that is a real discredit to Bob..Van has had a bit of a reputation of walking off stage and not finishing a concert because things have upset him..fans...- BluesRocker

yes, i also like the early Lizzy with Eric Bell..Their very first album is a decent effort but i don't listen to their 2nd album 'Shades' very much. i actually put it bottom of the list of all Lizzy albums..The final album with Bell 'Vagabonds' is a really good album and i rate hit highly..The...- BluesRocker

Those guitar harmonies of Scott and Snowy on the Chinatown album are really nice...by the time that the Renegade album came around, some of the guitar work was not so good..i think a lot of this was down to Scott because of his heroin addiction, i remember reading an article about Scott on that...- BluesRocker
