    French singer/guitarist Elise Lounici, aka Elise Frank...the name of her band is 'Frank.'...This album titled 'I Didn't Pay For It' she released earlier this year...bluesy-rock with a bit of a dark edge to it.

    This weekend has seen the annual Rory Gallagher International Tribute Festival held in Ballyshannon, Ireland which is Rory's birthplace..The festival is still going strong and its been going for over 20 years now..This years event was over 4 days with tons of musicians and bands performing both...

    Just been giving a listen to his 'Seven' and 'Back in '72' albums...Two of my favourite albums of his, to me this is classic Seger at his rockingest best... He didn't tour or travel much outside of North America so unfortunately i never got to see him live in concert..i think he only ever came...

    Yes, Night Moves is a fantastic album...some superb albums from 1976, Bob Seger ( Night Moves ), Blue Oyster Cult ( Agents of Fortune ), Thin Lizzy ( Jailbreak ), all stellar rock classics....My favourite track on Night Moves is 'The Fire Down Below,' the lyrics are superb ( walking the streets...

    i like all of Rory's studio and live albums, but if i had to pick just one then it would be Irish Tour '74...Such an authentic live album recorded in those Irish cities that Rory held close to his heart.

    Those guitar harmonies of Scott and Snowy on the Chinatown album are really nice...by the time that the Renegade album came around, some of the guitar work was not so good..i think a lot of this was down to Scott because of his heroin addiction, i remember reading an article about Scott on that...
