    Vocal Ability: Paul McCartney vs. Freddie Mercury

    Agree with the majority, McCartney wins it. Mercury was without doubt a superb frontman, his singing is on the other hand not the best. Some have stated that Paul Rodgers was better in Queen - don't know about that! Is Rodgers the best singer of the three - without a shadow of doubt he is.

    Completely agree with you. Mercury was a good front man but not the best singer, McCartney is better, but, Paul Rodgers is the man.

    Obscure Heavy Psych/Heavy Rock/Proto-Metal

    The album is scheduled to be released in the summer, hopefully July/August. The Record company are planning to promote it so standby for adverts and articles in mags etc.

    Basically, the band was formed in 1969 and broke up in 1974. Some old recordings were picked up by the Rockadrome label and released a couple of years ago.     I can confirm it sounds absolutely nothing like Black Sabbath. My vocals are probably more to the front than previous plus the recording is much better. The riffs are still big and strong and the bass and drums are beefy. There are 13 tracks on the album, it would be hard to pick a best one...
