What Music DVD Are You Watching

Tonight, it is Within Temptation - The Silent Force Tour. Picked up the deluxe edition a few weeks back, and just checking it out now. Can’t believe this was 17 years ago. This was WT’s most recent material when I discovered them.

    I haven't heard this in ages !

Not an EC fan by any stretch, but this is a song that I came across while building an AM Gold style playlist… a song that I hadn’t heard in probably decades. Totally forgotten about by me and local radio, “Promises” takes me back, big time. Wow! What a song. ”Promises” Eric Clapton (1978)

I am at a loss for words to describe my… dismay at the passing of Meat Loaf. Crushed. May he rest in peace. “Heaven Can Wait” by Meat Loaf (1977)

    R.I.P. Ronnie Spector

Yesterday I learned that Ronnie Spector died 5 days ago, Jan 12, 2022. After reading that, I thought of a quote from Jim Steinman, R.I.P., that comes back to me from time to time: “My songs are anthems to those moments when you feel like you’re on the head of a match that’s burning. …They’re...
