Gibson Lays Off Custom Shop Workers

The company's CEO and majority shareholder, Henry Juszkiewicz, recently placed the blame on stores where the guitars are exclusively sold, since Gibson doesn't sell its guitars online. "They're all afraid of e-commerce, with Amazon just becoming the second largest employer in the U.S., and the...

    Tim Buckley (Official Thread)

It was a frigid November night in 1974. We were flying (yes, flying would be the correct term) down I-94 in our '74 Chevy van, on the way to the Michigan Palace to see Tim Buckley and Rush. I find that the loss of these rock patriarchs is particularly sad as, at my age (of 62), they have been an intimate part of my life for many, many decades. You are sadly missed Greg Lake. Thank you for all the joy...

    A Little 'Swinging London' Playlist

Found some great songs on your list to add to my 60s playlist that I have at the office, which I play for my sister-in-law (she's 70 yrs. old), when she comes in and works for us. I'm always trying to put "new" tunes on it just for her. It's such a joy dancing down the musical memory lane with...

    Best concert seen live...

By far the two best concerts I've been to are: •Bob Dylan and The Band, and • the Eagles We saw both concerts some time in the early 70's ~ ah, time and smoke have slightly obscured the precise dates (but not the concerts!) I've been truly blessed to have experienced these epic artists!
