You know I'm going to post it MP..:lmao:

Sorry.. I'll refrain from hijacking further..:D

:lmao: Dude I have the Ben Stiller show on DVD! I would have posted this eventually here! No harm! Great stuff!!

Yes, Jungleland is an incredible song and my favourite from him. Before hearing it, I only knew of Born In The USA which I disliked. Another song I really enjoy is Land Of Hope And Dreams :grinthumb

I'm a big fan and have all his albums. Faves are Darkness, Tunnel of Love and Nebraska - in that order. But all of them get regular play, really. Live 1975-85 is a vastly underrated live classic w/stellar production.

Saw him live on the E-Street reunion tour in 1999 and, eh, last year I think it was.

Yeah...that live box set has some good stuff on there. I love Springsteen, and listen to E Street radio a fair amount on satellite, but the sound quality of much of the live recordings leaves something to be desired.

Here's my second favorite Springsteen album, Born in the U.S.A. I wore my old vinyl copy of this one out. One thing that really made me laugh about this record was the title song was picked for the Republican Party's national convention, I think anyway. Apparently the party officials never bothered to read the lyrics and just assumed it was a Loud & Proud American anthem...I am sure Bruce was laughing his butt off about the whole thing.:D

^^^^ I think he asked them to not use it?

@Gearjammer: the sound on the Live 75-85 is bad in your opinion?? Oook, we don't agree on that one :D

You might be right but I still think Bruce might have laughed about the idiots not even Listening to the song before they selected it. Just a little footnote that stuck in my head about that particular song, I think it was Bush Sr.'s second campaign, but I could be wrong seeing I'm not fully awake yet.

It was Reagan's re-election campaign. He even mentioned Bruce and the song in his stump speech.:heheh:

Love the Boss, everything up to The River was rock solid. He's a little hit or miss after that.
