MAGNUM?. Sorry never could get into this band I believe they originate from the English Midlands and the main guy the last time I looked about 15-20 years ago was Tony Clarkin who had a bald head and a beard and maybe played a Strat or a copy but the front man singer looked more tasty as a rock singer with long hair also many of there album/cd covers are very well done with a 'Prog rock' look about them plus lastly they showed up on BBCs TOTP many years ago maybe in the late 1980s or early 1990s and mimed to some boring slow number.

Love the British band Magnum - have seen them live in the past week - they were great as always but do have a tendency to play mainly later era material plus a fairly samey few oldies. So I;m also glad to see some of their former members have re-grouped to play the classic songs from the old days that Magnum no longer plays and that fans have missed. Hoping to catch all 3 of their UK shows in December

Dec 15th Sheffield, Corporation
Dec 21st Wolverhampton, Newhampton Arts Centre (SOLD OUT)
Dec 22nd Swindon, Level III

Anyone else in the UK going to any of these? They feature Mark Stanway, Micky Barker and Ricahrd Bailey from the classic line-ups, also Laurence Archer who played with Magnum in 1984 and also worked with UFO, Grand Slam, etc, plus the legendary Neil Murray on bass, vocalist Chris Ousey (Heartland/Snakecharmer), and sometime Magnum backing vocalist Mo BIrch. On paper it sounds like a "whos who" of British Melodic Rock www.kingdomofmadness.co.uk

All of my life live from 70’s is a proper underrated classic. Saw them around 1980 at St Austell Coleseum supporting Def Leppard. Both were immense.
