I saw them on Austin City Limits and John Popper said their bass player died and they fell off to grieve and because that guy wrote the songs. I heard Jon Poppers new band and hated it, but I will definitely give a new Blues Traveler album a whirl.

First thing I'd like to say is I became a fan when I heard But Anyway from lp #1 on a local modern rock station in D.C. in 1990. I really liked it so I purchased it and was floored. This album(disc) had no filler. Every song was good. Next came Travelers and Thieves which is better than their 1st. Travelers and Thieves is, along with DaDa's Puzzle are my two favorite albums of the 90's. If you're only familiar with Four, please go back and listen to the first three albums.

Favorite BT lp-Travelers and Thieves
Favorite BT song-Sweet Pain

Blues Traveler's John Popper back in 1993, just after his motorcycle accident, he sat on a stool the entire show.
