Most people indirectly influence me to choose because very rarely do I ever inquire about the artists; I just jump right into the music after catching a glimpse. Will put it on a music queue list of mine. I think it might be the gorgeous album covers too...

Blackberry Smoke from @Sharp Dressed Man

Kreator and Lich King from @Riff Raff (the Omniclasm album was thrash done f**king right, Riffy. Was listening just last night.)

Chris Robinson Brotherhood from @joker1961

There are more but these are off of the top of my head.

All great and I'm glad I chose to seek out these artists because I enjoyed what I heard and it just comes to show people around here have impeccable listening tastes.

I have had many new artists introduced and which impressed me at CRF. However one of the most original and very contraversial artist brought to my attention is Diamanda Galas and when she sings 'Iron Lady' that is so awesome in many ways. She is an artist which I feel most people will either like or dislike, and I think she has been 'censored' in a lot of music venues. I dont go for all her songs as even I think are slightly over the top... But when she sings a few of her better songs, it hits the nail on the head and no one else can copy it, not even a tribute singer...! She would also look great in a vampire movie!

I found out Mark Tremonti is probably the most talented guitarist ever.

I was on the Classical forum by chance.

My most recent discovery is Corrosion of Conformity, thanks to @Mr Mojo Risin.
I haven’t listened to their entire discography yet but I have listened to Wiseblood, Deliverance, and Americas Volume Dealer.
