Agreed on that. The only phase I didn't enjoy that much were the Tommy Bolin albums. They just seemed to lose direction for me. Steve Morse is a fantastic guitarist who bought a new stability to the band. I remember seeing him in 1995 just after he joined the band and being impressed with his playing and calm presence.
Looking at all the albums you've played over the last few days, it's a good reminder of how many excellent albums they've had in their career

Agreed. It was fun listening to their discography in order hearing their different line up sounds.

Generally more into movie scores, but this soundtrack is superb - although short - with great artists like ZZ Ward, Gary Clark Jr., Dan Auerbach, Brad Paisley, Andra Day, Lea DeLaria (from OITNB) and a couple of artists that I did not know previously, but will definitely have to check out further!

I have half a dozen or so of their albums but not this one..
great band, love their ability to mix the power of punk with folk...

favourite album I own of theirs would be "goin' out in style"

I think we have same taste when it comes to Dropkick Murphys:). Also there's a new album released in January this year with the titel '11 Short Stories of Pain & Glory'. I have not been listening to that album, yet. Hmm, I'm looking forward to hear their version of You'll Never Walk Alone
