Their longevity is pretty amazing when you consider how tough they had it in the beginning. Once critics label you a clone, usually that means doom for the career, but the Boston Bad Boys took the punch and kept chuggin' along. I think Tyler will be fine, he has to be burned out. The life of a star all those years, coupled with addictions has to be taking its toll on his life. He is in one of the best rehab facilities, so he should do just fine.

great review @Magic Aerosmith are in my D N A...........

It's a toss up for me between Rocks and Get Your Wings as my favorite. However, I've listened to those albums soooooo much I'm kinda tired of them.

Lately, Nine Lives has been getting quite a bit of attention in my playlist. I have been enjoying the mix of different styles in that album.:grinthumb

I went from being an Aerosmith apostle to being out of the loop.
I wrote them off a long time ago and missed the whole thing after the 70's
Yeah I know.
I'm like a child who wanders in the in middle of a movie and wants to know......

I did check out Music From Another Dimension and it sounded pretty good to me on first blush.

I know a lot of people dissed Music From Another Dimension but I liked it.
:dunno:

Honkin On Bobo got a bad wrap from fans and critics but I think it is underrated. That album really showcased Tyler's talent, IMO.

I enjoyed Honk a lot. Wasn't such a huge fan of the album before it Just Push Play.

:woot::woot: the Aerosmith puzzle is a easy fix in that `73 to 2017 there are bounded to be some albums die-hard fans don't agree on, I mean the `70`s where a patchy after "ROCKS" the toxic twins where no firing together! just look at the album when Brad/Joe came back to the fold "DWM" a couple of nuggets and a few fillers. like @Magic and @Riff Raff those album mentioned I too like them. so you`ve just gotten to take it has you find IT. . .

Glad to hear that, Riffy. Taste of India is the highlight of that album for me. ;). unique song for Aerosmith. I like it when a band tries a music style uncharacteristic for them.

Agree. Taste of India is one of my favourites. That album's sound had a lot of appeal to me.

I agree. It's rare for any long standing band to have perfect albums each time. The larger a band's discography, the less chance there is for perfection.

The only band I can think of with a perfect discography is Alice in Chains and next to perfect would be Rush.

Ultimate perfection.....Beethoven.:flirt
