Most of us old classic rock fans have more diverse tastes than what seems to prevail with the kiddies these days. I credit it to album rock from the greats.
Beatles, Stones, Zep etc. Most of the classic albums included songs from different genres. As such I've considered myself a fan of many types of music including country which I come to through the Stones, The Band and Southern Rock. However the current state of popular country has been a source of disgust for me. I just HATE what constitutes country now adays. I mean the play list from CMT. But there is hope.
