Kudos to Joker and Vader on the metal and BANG long players, never too
old for new metal and need to check some of it out. Haven't seen the
BANG cover in decades but we thought they were too cool back in
the 'merican graffiti years... LOL. Need it give them a go again cuz
there is hidden gold in them thar early 70's hills.

This is a hot piece of property and showed why what was happening on the
west coast in the early 80's really mattered. The Blasters, Los Lobos, the
Paisley movement with Rain Parade (of which Mazzy Star was born),
Bangles, etc was glorious.

X was jet-fueled americana with a full metal 50's jacket. Whiskey A Go Go is
pure rock n' roll bliss and amazes every time it is played. God bless eXene,
Billy Zoom and John Doe.

I just checked them out, and Anekdoten are pretty good. I like them.
