Favorite Opeth Song?

I personally don't like Mikael's voice when it comes to the harsh stuff. Everything else I'm really into. Especially Damnation. My favorite would have to be Windowpane.

Is that because you don't like harsh vocals in general? Imo Mikael is the greatest growler ever and also one of my favourite clean singers. Opeth is possible my favourite "extreme" metal band of all-time and one of my favourite bands in any genre. You'd think it would be REALLY hard to pick on favourite song, but I actually have one: "The Drapery Falls". "Face of Melinda" is probably my second favourite and if we're talking purely non-metal tracks, "Harvest" is my favourite.

Without a doubt the top spot for me. Mikael has great harsh vocals but also has awesome cleans. But the focus really is the excellent instrumentations.

I don't know why. There is something about his harsh vocals I don't like. I love harsh vocals like Lamb Of God, Cult Of Luna, At The Gates, In Flames etc. He has a great singer but not a great screamer. I like his vocals on the softer stuff.
