John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band (yeah, I know a Springsteen knockoff, but still made some decent music)
Omar And The Howlers
Box Of Frogs
The Cruzados
Del Fuegos
The Call
and last but not least, The Church.
Reptile is one of the best unknown songs to come out of the 80s!
Well for my two pence worth both Saxon and Thunder have be in there as two of the most underated bands of the 80's
I love Saxon and they are still kickin' now.
Hey MR. Grendel. Didn't see you on here for a while. Glad you are OK. I think Todd Rundgren did some pretty amazing stuff in the 80s. Of course he has always been an under appreciated cult figure.
I actually loath the USA 80s as being the most uncreative and commercialized aspect in the time line of Rock music to date. There are exceptions of course, but hair and spandex make me sick.
Thank goodness for the NWOBHM as well as the lesser known progressive stuff.
Ultimately, Savatage was probably one of my favorite 80s bands.
