Maybe my favorite band at the moment. Just saw them live two months ago with Revamp and Sabaton. Both were very good but Iced Earth was just freaking amazing. Love this band.

One of my favorites of the year if not my favorite. Love it from start to finish. Think it an improvement on Dystopia which I really like. New vocalist is a great fit IMO. Both vocally and song writing wise as well. They KILLED live !

I listened to the recent album, Plagues of Babylon, and I actually like what I here! They are more in an Avenged Sevenfold even Stone Sour type middle ground where I can get into it! :grinthumb

:heheh: I agree they do have a Sevenfold feel to the album but try to admit that on even a video of theirs one would get torched. lol

I picked up the double vinyl + CD artbook on Saturday – IE has been one of my favourite metal bands since the mid-90s and I'm a bit of a hardcore IE collector. Just to be clear, I don't think the band has ever released a bad album, but everything post "The Glorious Burden" just hasn't been on par with the classic stuff as far as I'm concerned. I know many people would say the same about “TGB” and “The Horror Show”, but I actually consider "The Horror Show" one of my favourite IE albums and "The Glorious Burden" has one of the bands best songs ("Gettysburg (1863)"). So, with that in mind, I would actually say that "Incorruptible" is a return to form (again, relatively speaking, since I don't think the band ever "lost their form"). As far as song writing goes, its right up there with some of their best material, there are so many stand out tracks on this record. In terms of atmosphere, I cannot help but compare it to "The Glorious Burden".

I know some of you guys have been listening to the new album, so I'm curious to hear what you think.
