I'm more of a casual fan myself. I loved "Devil's Ground" when it came out and I really like the duet with Simone Simmons ("Everytime It Rains"). I haven't heard the past couple of albums. Perhaps I'll catch up.

They never were about being innovative, which I know bothers some folks. But I like their music, they remind me of old school metal I grew up with and there's nothing wrong with that. There are a horde of new metal bands out there pushing the envelope but Scheepers found something he enjoys and the rest is history.

Hard for me to pick a favorite album,,,I'd have to listen to them all again.

Yeah, that does seem to be the biggest grudge people hold against them. The irony is that especially in the metal scene, there are millions of bands with absolutely no innovation, who get hailed by most people, just because it's cool enough with the general crowd to like them. Anyway, that's a whole different discussion. Concerning Primal Fear, as I said above, I consider myself a casual fan. I enjoy them, but haven't kept up with recent releases. I've also seen them live a couple of times, which was a blast!

I would like to see them but they've never come close to where I live, I think Seattle or Vancouver are the only cities near me they've performed in.

^^Vancouver and Seattle as usual SDM, that's a long way to go for a concert. It's too bad they didn't swing inland and play here and Calgary, but that's not likely to happen.

The new album is out! I ended up buying a copy, after hearing a track on Youtube with guest vocals by Liv Kristine. It turns out the Youtube version is different that the album version. On the album version, there's a lot more Ralph and a lot less Liv. I was disappointed that the different version was not even included as a bonus track. But none the less, it's a damn fine album. Apart from the track with Liv, my favourite track, so far, is "One Night In December"
