Went for LZ on this and not simply because it is LZ nor do I care about what others think is better I just enjoyed Good Times more than Hush.

I picked Hush. I think it's a great interpretation of the song. The Zep song has a place in my heart too!

I was having a bit of fun with my post and I DO pay attention to what other people have to say about things and respect their opinions even if I don't agree with them that is what a forum is for after all.

And I like the Zeppelin song too, but always like to see an underdog win in these dust ups once in a while, it goes back to seeing so many Zeppelin songs win MP's polls a couple years ago.:cheers2

^^I've said more than once Zeppelin fanatics are as bad as Beatles fanatics when it comes down to it. I love both of them but do have room for other bands on that pedestal and like to show them some support too.:D

I like Good Times Bad Times better here, but you are right about Zeppelin fanatics and Beatles fanatics (as I'm one of those)...my brother once said a LONG time ago that if the Beatles made an album with nothing bu farting on it, it would still sell.

:heheh: :grinthumb

Though I haven't been here in quite a while I'm usually somewhat reluctant to include Led Zep in a poll being whoever I put them up against usually gets their arse handed to them. I've often wondered if Free Bird went up against The Crunge who would come out on top :D. Though I am pleasantly surprised that DP is doing so well.

You can also add Pink Floyd to the list of bands that don't lose too many polls.

^^Nice to see you back again Hawk.:hab:

Yes Zeppelin seems to manage to win more than their fair share of polls, that's why I like to 'ave a bit of fun' whenever a poll like this is posted.:gig

You can add Queen fans to that list. I do love all three bands, but like you, I can be open minded and even vote against my favourite bands, if the particular song is better. It's not like it makes us less fans to admit that some songs are better than those of our favourites.
