The Stones in Indianapolis for the Steel Wheels concert cost a pretty penny.....cant remember the exact amount but I can remember bitching about the cost.

Another one that hit the wallet pretty heavy was seeing Trans Siberian Orchestra..........tickets were like $125 USD a piece.

I have seen TSO 7 times but I go for the cheap 60 bucks tickets :grinthumb The first 2 times I saw them I had great floor seats, but they cost nowhere near 125

I think I paid around 80 or so for Van Halen and another 80 for Seger

Sometimes I think it is the venue that determines ticket cost. I once saw Foreigner at a county fair and the tix were dirt cheap...........

Cheap Trick is coming to town and prices range from 56 to 115.I saw them three years ago with 2 other bands for about 30 bucks.Dickey Betts is playing the same venue and tickets are 44-65.I like Betts fine, but 65 bucks to see him is crazy. Also at the same venue Joe Satriani and Steve Morse tickets cost 58-102

Saw Roger Waters do The Wall in October 2010. Nosebleed seats were $120.

Not including Festivals I would say The Stones or The Eagles at the time I seem to remember parting with a fair old amount. More recently Rush spring to mind. Not cheap but then I guess you can't put a price on good memories.:D

I've gone to Concerts at big Arenas where you can barely see anything (which I despise and wouldn't much care for going to again) alongside somewhat smaller, yet still big, faraway shows that cost too much either way even though it's a little closer. What I do like though is going to a club like the House Of Blues where it's always a smaller, more personal/close to the band venue. At a place like the House Of Blues, I usually am one to squeeze myself right up to the front "row" and can enjoy a close show near the band the whole time. I also prefer paying around 15-40 bucks for a show like that rather than an Arena show that will cost me anywhere from 35-115 bucks for a horrible to average to decent seat still far from the band. I've learned a lot over the years and have decided that most, if not all of my future Concerts will most likely be at the nice, friendly clubs rather than a big old Arena.:****:

AC/DC easily the most expensive and not surprisingly.
Yeah, I remember seeing them for the "Stiff Upper Lip" tour (which I believe I've probably spoken to you about a time or two before) along with maybe Van Halen, Creed, Def Leppard, Matchbox 20 and the Ozzfest being some high cost Arena (or close to it) shows just as well. I probably could've and did see around 5 or so close/personal club type Concerts for the price of one of those seats. Those club seats included great Artists that I've seen including Ted Nugent (2 times), the Foo Fighters quite a few times, Needtobreathe, Opeth, Fuel, Nickelback, Sevendust, Jerry Cantrell/Alice In Chains alongside many others.

Going along with all of that, I wish that I had the chance to see Alice In Chains (with Layne), Nirvana, Type O Negative, INXS, AC/DC (with Bon Scott), Dio and the Beatles, etc... I did get to see Pantera, so I didn't miss out on that. Artists that I haven't seen yet and/or very much desire to see again include Neil Young & Crazy Horse (above all), Megadeth (with Nick Menza and Marty Friedman), Metallica (back with Jason Newsted), Rush, Alice Cooper, Kiss (in the original lineup) and Aerosmith. That about sums Concert experiences up for me.:****:
