Something I had been wondering lately, what places do you lot like to buy music from whether it be online or not? :)
I find myself often on Ebay getting CDs from Utopia Records store thats in Sydney. They have a great selection I am usually after. Landspeed Records in Canberra I love (one of the very few proper record stores still left).
Second hand shops I also find myself navigating the rock and metal sections, I find unremastered albums in there too if I hate the remastered version of something.

I have a used CD/DVD/GAME/Blu Ray store by me called Disc Replay.

I also use Best Buy for some Tuesday new release sales, in store orders at Barns & Noble and Amazon.

Online for DVD's and CD's I usually shop at "CD Connection", I've done business with them for almost ten years now and they are a quality store.

A new online store I found last winter, "Soundstage Direct" is a fabulous store for new vinyl records. I've only got one bad record so far, and when I let them know they shipped me a replacement free no questions asked.

There is a Canadian store I found later that offers similar service, but I haven't ordered from them yet. I will do some business with them when my cleaning machine gets here and need some of the specialty fluids you must have that for some ridiculous reason the US/Canada customs agencies won't allow across the border.:wtf:

Freecloud, Sound Connection and Blackbyrd Myoozic are my go to New/2nd hand record/CD shops now, I haven't visited a HMV for ages not since they were taken over by a leverage company here in Canada to keep the doors open.

Amoeba is still the place for me. I also like Canterbury's and Poo-Bah's in Pasadena. There are also a couple of great monthly flea markets at Pasadena City College and The Rose Bowl.

It used to be my local record shop "Hudsons" but that closed this year after 105 years. I think for CD's it's now Amazon but with vinyl I like to go to Sheffield, Nottingham or Matlock and visit Fopp, HMV and other smaller places to check out what's going on.

Amazon.com, CD Universe, an assortment of other on-line music stores that specialize in heavy, progressive, 70's and or metal plus a couple of local hole in the wall used vinyl stores.
