Rocket was good, Love Bites wasn't a bad song either, some of the ballads I enjoyed and looking at Hysteria on its own merits it deserves the accolades it gets but Id take High n Dry and Pyromania above that album.

We will never hear its like again. Every single note was the result of blood, sweat and tears and god knows how many takes. All that would not matter a jot if not for the classic, classic songwriting.

The guitar sound in particular is just beautiful: mulit-layered and zipping from ear to ear like razorblades.

Just incredible.

I love this album and it would rank #3 all time from the band (for me) behind Pyromania and High n Dry. The biggest problem this album had was that it got beat to death on the radio for many many years. But it is a VERY solid album.

I have so much love for this album, it's such a feel-good record! I still whack on a bit of Pour Some Sugar when I'm getting ready to go out somewhere, it hypes me up so much and it's got groove. I love belting out a bit of Animal and Armageddon It too, everything about this album brings a smile to my face. I've also written a quick review of it on my blog if anyone's interested.

I have the album but don't play it anymore, I prefer their early stuff they are much better, this is too cheesy now:)

Kinda how I feel about the album too, its good to listen to occasionally but I much prefer Pyromania and the albums before it.

Shame really, I think they aimed it more at the American market and it was overplayed so now I listen to it once every few years:)

Great Review. I used to hate the song Pour Some Sugar On Me. But I can enjoy it now after all these years. Here's my favourite track from the album.
