I'll bet they were a delight to see, I like some of the stuff from this era, I have seen a few rock n' roll bands in the local pubs and they put on a real good show. Bill Haley and his comets were a breath of fresh air back in the day

Rock Around the Clock Tonight is a very well known song. Anyone who has watched "American Graffiti" or "Happy Days" knows this song

What sucks about Bill Haley And His Comets is that the Rock 'N' Roll Hall Of Fame inducted Bill Haley without His Comets only to later induct His Comets. The Rock 'N' Roll Hall Of Fame should have inducted them together and not wasted a spot.

Re-phrase: I think what sucks is the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Bill Haley lived in Harlingen Texas which is in the Texas Rio Grande Valley where I live. Small world I guess.
