Good Syd, I'm glad I'm not crazy (in this case at least ) You really should listen to the whole album! I had heard the single and kind of passed it off as it really seemed to resemble a lot of the other artist I'd been hearing but when you hear the album it's a lot more diverse.

That's kind of what I've been doing. There is a new alternative rock station in my area that I really like and "Little Talks" gets played pretty often on it and while it was a fun song I really wasn't interested in exploring deeper from it. "Slow and Steady" is my favorite from the songs posted and catches my attention much more.
