Opposites Attract: Music and Movies

Started this thread to come up with some famous couples who seem to be complete opposites (at least in the looks department)

I recently took note of this actress named Evan Rachel Wood who is very sexy IMO and come to find out later she was dating Marilyn Manson. Talk about opposites attract. I don't know much about her personality but judging from her appearance, she could not be more different than Manson..

I can think of Ione Skye (She was in Say Anything with John Cusack) and Anthony Kiedis. Anthony is wild, outspoken, comedic and just a weird fella. Ione seems very intelligent, classy and feminine. Even in his book he described her as the caring, motherly type and him the heroin seeking loon. Not to mention they had an 8 year age difference. They do look like a sweet couple though.

Here's one of the ultimate odd couples.

Not the biggest Julia Roberts fan, but this marriage to Lyle Lovett although short lived never made any sense to me.

Marilyn also dated Rose McGowan for the longest time didn't he? Shes a beauty and I thought they looked a little odd, but I've heard she's a little "out there" so I guess it worked.

Also, Seal and Heidi Klum. They were together a long time and I know most of Hollywood scratched heir heads at that one.

^^Heidi Klum got what she deserved, she was only interested in one thing about Seal and that ended up as it usually does. Personally I think Seal is hideous...sorry I know it's bad and a result of lupus or some other affliction when he was young but I could never be with someone as ugly as that...yeah I'm shallow about some things.

Hmm... well I can't say I know much about the details of their split. Its unfortunate about his condition but I think it helps him stand out a little more in the market. He has made some beautiful music though.

A lot of women would probably go for Marilyn Manson, I'd imagine dating him would be pretty interesting as he's such a polarising figure in popular culture, and it wouldn't be boring living with him or being married to him, so long as she didn't mind the whole 'body-top-to-toe-in-black-liquid-latex-with-a-breathing-straw-in-your-nostril-whilst-you-cooked-dinner' thing.

I saw Rose McGowan in a movie recently and I knew she looked familiar but I couldn't figure out who it was. She supposedly had some plastic surgery around her eyes because of a car crash but it looks like she had more than that done. I don't know, maybe not.

Seal is actually an awfully good looking guy coming from a straight man. I mean, this album cover is truly the man himself:



His face has the scarring but is honestly not that hard to look at.
