After MUCH sadness my November trip to Manchester U.K. to visit my bf and see The Darkness was canceled do to the auto accident I was in ,in October 
However, Rock gods were on my side and The Darkness decided to tour North America and Canada !!!
And I got another shot at seeing them !
ANNNND I'm going to the Boston gig Feb 2012 Woottttttttttt !
Now I'm only worried about storms ( Boston in Feb is iffy at best)
and as far as my disabled state...I can sit in special seating if need be !
Sooooo happy got my ticket
and get to ALSO see a band I discovered a while back , Foxy Shazam as they are support for The Darkness again in this tour ! Yeahhh !
A good night for sure !

The Darkness' "Christmas Time" single was the #1 rock single this past week in the UK, a solid 8 years after it was released. A fine way to end their reunion year.

Howdy there Darklings. New news from Darkness HQ.
Firstly, the first new song from the Darkness since their reunion, "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us"
Aaaaaand you can download said new song at their site for free. Music – The Darkness I Don't think it's the best song but it's new, free and I see it entirely as a quick little promotional song.
Also during the Superbowl tonight the Darkness made a boom in a big way with their signature song...
And THAT lead to THIS...

I saw THEM on Friday Feb 3 in Boston at The Paradise Rock Club
Finggggg amazing !!! Totally the BEST show I have seen..in ..hell forever !
They sounded REALLY REALLY good.. I was blown away..guitar solos with both Dan and Justin ..face melting !
Ed and Frankie were sooo on too..and adorable !! I love every second
the highlight was Justin got on a roadies shoulders road him around playing a solo in A Thing Called Love..I was in the balcony and he was face to face with me for 5 mins playing !
I ALMOST fainted lol ..not kidding..
I blew him a kiss..he mocked catching it before he road off among the rest ..It was a fun time. So interactive with the crowd. It was sold out..we rocked that place..
gawd, still recovering..worth it ! I LOVE them !!!
Heres a pic of the crowd (I'm in the balcony VERY great place too/good view and that solo ride..worth it !!)..Justin in his custom leather made JUST for usa tour..catsuit..yazaaaa
and my golden ticket..FUN !!!!
I love Dan Hawkins ..!!!!
he did a Wayne And Garth bow to the crowd after his solo...we all went nutz lol..

Hey, that Reminds me! The Darkness are actually close to my area for some reason and my friend and I had discussed going!!! Would LOVE to see them! It'd be different from ANY other band I've seen live!

It was AWESOME Metal..they put on the BEST show..they sounded perfect..I am waiting for the new album. They tease us with clips..the tour seems to be going really well for them..with that cheeky Super Bowl advert..that should boost some new interest. According to the last check , A Thing Called Love , is 1# on the download charts !
Good for them..I hope they realize how many loyal fans they DO have here..they were worried if people would remember them..I know all the northeast venues were SOLD OUT Boston, Nyc, Phillie..TOTALLY cool !
I wasn't sure what expect from them musically but I can assure you, they sound brilliant..really impressed that the qualtity has upgraded in fact ..better !
I hope Justin stays clean ..no drugs etc...touring must have alot temptations ..
He shows HOW much he can do with his brother Frankie and Ed..
