Im surprised theres no thread for Marilyn on here

IMO this band is the best shock rockers out there, with succesful albums like,

Official Website

Portrait of an American Family (1994)
Smells Like Children (1995)
Antichrist Superstar (1996)
Mechanical Animals (1998)
Holy Wood (In the Shadow of the Valley of Death) (2000)
The Golden Age of Grotesque (2003)
Eat Me, Drink Me (2007)
The High End of Low (2009)
Born Villain (2012)
The Pale Emperor(2015)

and many more.. I think this guy deserves a Thread on this forum :)

Of course, in order to convince people he is worth looking into, here are some of his best songs.

PS: Vulgar Language

The Beautiful People

Great Big White World

Born Villain

Disposable Teens

Its real head banger material, something about their music also just.. brings out the devil inside everyone, makes you want to rage and rampage.

He also has good cover of 80s music like Tainted Love and Sweet Dreams, unfortunatly I cannot post these here because you need an 18+ youtube account to view the videos because of the content.

Re: Marilyn Manson - Thread

There was at one time Lord Dweedle. I did a band of the month thread for him and other shock rockers bu I think a new fresh thread is needed for him. I worship this album as the best thing he's done song for song:

Re: Marilyn Manson - Thread

I must admit when our guitarist was raving about MARILYN MANSON in his early days I borrowed the cds and thought "Whats all the fuss ?? " i never took to his early material, it wasnt until the metal riffed edge to the song "Beautiful people" that most of us started to take interest ! Great song.. Also saw them "Live" at Rock city Nottingham Uk around this time
His workings of the cover versions mentioned are top dollar,....I have even picked up some of his cds recently in the bargain bins...pretty good:grinthumb
Good to see a thread for Mr Manson..

New album Born Villain is awesome. Heavy which is why I find it to be awesome.
