Cleveland Hall of Fame announcement leaked

According to the New York Daily News, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame will announce tomorrow that their inductees for 2012 are:

Guns N Roses
Red Hot Chili Peppers
Beastie Boys
Donovan
Laura Nyro

If this is true, they finally got some things right and inducted some folks younger than my grandparents. Hooray!

Until Jethro Tull and Deep Purple(Among Others) are inducted I will not give a rat's ass who they put in. It's become a true farce how this Hall conducts it's business.

Well if those are indeed their choices then I have to say that of the crop that they had this year if you swapped out Laura Nyro for Joan Jett and/or Heart then I'd actually be content with their picks this year.

But as with always it's still more about who they're leaving out than who is actually getting in. I say it's all to give them more buzz.

I think it's a horrible list. Joan Jett & the Blackhearts and Heart should have definitely been included from the nominations.

I was reading this article last week. There are so many bands and artists that should have been included. These are just 10 and I agree with the majority of them.

Any Rock and Roll HOF that inducts the Bleeping Beastie Boys ahead of so many more worthy bands is beyond belief to me, anyone else want to argue that politics has more to do with this HOF than any musical merit?
