I like Stewart fine, but I much prefer ELP to the Police and Palmer was an integral part in making ELP a great band, one of the best drummers of his era.

It's NOT about the bands LG, it's about the drummers.

Doesn't matter I like Carl's drumming better than Stewart's, it's not about being innovative or influential either Tony just who you like more or think is better...:D

That's because members pick bands instead of drummers as they should do. And because they don't take the time to listen to the drummers.

Yeah, it is a shame. I am a drummer and it's not as easy as most of those guys on the list make it out to be. I think the drummer for any group is underrated. Especially, the more innovative ones.
