Alright, we have already done ultimate song (Comfortably Numb) and album (Led Zeppelin). It now looks like Led Zeppelin is going to run away with ultimate band. So let's try something new. I have 32 drummers going at it on a random bracket. I'll also list the band they were most known for being the drummer. This is the second part.

RULE: PICK ONLY ONE DRUMMER PER GROUP

Albert Bouchard is a good drummer and an accomplished song writer, many of my favorite BOC tunes are one's he's written. But Bonzo is the far better drummer.

I am pulling for Ginger Baker to win this one..although it would be cool to see Carmine Appice get some forum love.

^^^ Carmine is praised highly among music buffs but VF probably isn't mainstream enough for him to pull out a win, but what do I know.

I have a vinyl copy of one of Carmine's solo records I bought ages ago. It has somehow survived all these years and is in mint condition. Anyway I wish I could sit you all down in the big room and play it for you, it has to be the most powerful sounding drum kit I have ever listened to. Unlike so many other recordings the drums get the priority. The songs are average, the vocals not the greatest, but just from enjoying a great drummer in the spotlight it's an amazing experience.

Of course I like to have a couple pops First and then crank it up.:hab:
